Feast of St Anthony the Great Mass

On Sunday there was a special service for the Feast of St Anthony the Great at St Maron's Church, Zgharta, which also marked the 25th Annivesary of the founding of St Anthony's School, El Khaldieh, Zgharta. The service was led by Archbishop Georges Bou Jaoudé, Archbishop of Tripol, assisted by Fr. Nader Nader and Father John Makhlouf. Also participating in the Mass were: Bishop Paul Saadeh, Bishop of Batroun; Archbishop Paul Dahdah, O.C.D. Vicar Apostolic of Beirut. Among the other clergy attending were Fr Estephan Frangieh and Fr. John Moura. Among the congregation were former Member of Parliament Jawad Boulos; Mrs. Vera Yammine representing Member of Parliament Sleiman Frangieh; Member of Parliament Estephane Boutros Douaihy; George Akle representing Member of Parliament Salim Youssef Karam; Mrs. Marielle Michel Moawad representing her husband; Youssef Sarkis (Bahaa) Douaihy; Gen Joseph Maawwari, President of the Zgharta Ehden Municipal Council.
